Mahdi chehimi and walid Saad received a new microgrant from uk-based quantum formalism-zaiku group on "quantum federated learning"

PhD student Mahdi Chehimi and Dr. Saad have been awarded a $10,000 microgrant from the Quantum Formalism - Zaiku Group in the UK as part of their quantum computing open-source community initiative.

This microgrant will be used to investigate the integration of quantum machine learning (QML) techniques and distributed learning frameworks. Particularly, Mahdi Chehimi will be working on developing quantum federated learning frameworks that incorporate novel QML models with a specific focus on addressing the limitations of todya's NISQ quantum computers.
